2010 University of Texas, Austin Undie Run

May 24th, 2010

The Undie Run is a charitable event where people show up fully dressed, then strip down to their undies and donate their clothes to charity.

The 2010 UT Austin Undie Run could not have been more of a success! About 3,000 students and people showed up to help out.

After contacting the coordinator, I was able to help set up a sponsorship for AMP Energy Drink. The AMP Energy Street team was able to help out and their vehicle became the “Pace Car” for the race; and drove in front the whole time.

The runners, who had to run close to a mile were in serious need of hydration and energy. Of course we were there with AMP Energy to help out anyone in need of delicious, thirst-quenching energy!

It was a great day and the weather was perfect for the lack of clothing everyone had!

Rams Pointe AMP Energy Pool Party, Colorado State University

May 19th, 2010

Rams Pointe, a local student housing apartment building has been chosen this year to host the annual summer kick-off party.

With a DJ and a huge crowd ready to have fun in the sun I couldn’t have asked for a more energized atmosphere!

As the day went on it got really hot under the Colorado sun. AMP Energy was ideal solution to keeping us all cool and energized.

With about 500 people there it ended up being one of the biggest parties of the year! The pictures don’t do justice to how pumping this party was and how AMP’d Up everyone got.

Summer couldn’t have started off more supreme!

Greek Idol @ Kansas State University

May 17th, 2010

We’ve got talent, yes we do!

This ever-popular Greek Week event highlighted some of the greatest talent in the Greek Community.

Any and all talents were able to preform at the Bosco Plaza on the KSU Campus.

Greek Idol 2010 was a huge success; the perfect place for AMP Energy!

2,000 Greek students gathered to watch the 15 performers; dancing, singing and showing off their talent!

AMP Energy definitely made it’s presence known! Students were stoked to AMP Up and try some new flavors they hadn’t seen before.

I really enjoyed giving AMP Energy samples and I could tell by the looks on people’s faces that they enjoyed it as well!

Keep AMP’n Up KSU!

The BIG Event, Oklahoma State University

May 13th, 2010

Oklahoma State’s BIG event is a campus wide community service event where faculty, staff and students go out into the Stillwater community and help those in need.

Tons of people came out to help! It was a perfect location for AMP Energy, who was one of the official sponsors of the event.

Students gathered at 9am to get their assignments of what they would be doing for the day. Some assignments included raking leaves, cleaning up yards, and trimming bushes.

Being a college campus, it was easy to see that students were still bone-tired for it being so early on a Sunday morning.

AMP Energy was the PERFECT solution! It definitely got kids energized and ready to start their day of service.

It was a great day of service and everyone was AMP’d Up! Making this one of the best BIG Events ever!

Phi Kaps Annual Spring Luau, University of Pittsburgh

May 12th, 2010

It’s that time of year again! The weather is finally nice so the Phi Kaps hosted their annual spring luau party.

The theme was beach and the students all had a great time dressing up for the occasion. Grass skirts, bathing suits, and floaties were everywhere!

The luau went over as expected, awesome! AMP Energy made its presence known from the cup and can sampling. People were going nuts for the swag items too! The sunglasses were the hot commodity of the evening (they fit in the theme so well)!

The Phi Kaps enjoyed having AMP Energy so much they wanted to make this an annual AMP Energy event!

Overall, it was a fantastic night! People said the AMP Energy was great and they will definitely be buying some at the Market Place!

Lets AMP Up while we still can PITT!

Painting The Rock! -Northwestern University

May 11th, 2010

Guarding and painting The Rock is a HUGE deal here at Northwestern. It’s commonly reffered to as a Northwestern student’s “right of passage.” Basically, whenever a student group or greek chapter is having an event, the classic way to advertise is to paint The Rock.

The Rock is in the center of campus where thousands of students walk past every day and night. The girls of ZTA guarded The Rock from 12am on Wednesday morning to 11:59pm Wednesday night, and then painted it at 12am Thursday morning.

I helped them paint and also brought along some AMP Energy ( the orange Recharge flavor to keep them energized all night to paint!). There were a bunch of girls and some Fiji brothers all helping paint the enormous rock, and it turned out fantastic!

We all had so much fun and The Rock looked fantastic! The ZTA girls were also able to hand out AMP Energy to students passing by througout the day.

It was a great success!

Girl Talk Concert, University of Texas - Austin

April 14th, 2010

The famous band, Girl Talk, preformed in the middle of the UT Campus–the six pack– just after the huge 40 Acres Fest in Austin.

The free event turned out to be completely packed!

I could barely move in the crowd of 1,500+ students.

I was able to hand out AMP Energy from a tent during the concert to make sure everyone was AMP’d Up.

Everyone that was there was thrilled to see AMP Energy there and were very thankful for the thirst quenching energy it gave them.

It was an awesome concert and we couldn’t have asked for a more energetic crowd.

Thanks for helping us all AMP Up at the show AMP Energy!

Slaughterama Bike Festival, Virginia Commonwealth University

April 8th, 2010

Every year, Richmond hosts the biggest bike festival on the east coast. Thousands of people come to a public park called Belle Isle to celebrate riding bikes.

There are tall bike jousting contests to small bike races. Making this one of the most fun and highly anticipated events of Spring.

Slaughterama was a huge success! With a nice sunny day and an energetic crowd; we couldn’t have asked for anything more!

There were 1,500+ attendees throughout the day so I had the AMP Energy Street Team help me hand out AMP Energy to everyone that was there.

Everyone was very excited to see that AMP Energy made an appearance at this year’s Slaughterama Bike Festival.

They all told me it really helped keep their energy levels high and focused to really rock it out on the jumps.

Keep AMP’n Up everyone!
