Arizona State’s Spring Break Kick-Off Party

March 11th, 2010

The Vue, a student living community, hosted the Spring Break Kick-Off party for ASU students on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

This party is normally sponsored by Red Bull, but this year AMP Energy took over!

The party was INSANE and had over 1,500 people there! Even when the pool reached it’s capacity there was a line outside.

It will be hard to beat this kind of sun and fun! AMP Energy definitely helped everyone out that was feeling a little tired from all that time in the blazing sun.

We had a game of AMP Energy pong going on at one of the largest sponsor tables. Students got into some pretty heated matches!

This was the best Spring Break Kick-Off party to date! Everyone really enjoyed having AMP Energy there and many people got my contact info so I could possibly attend some of their upcoming events!

Thanks AMP Energy for jump starting all of our spring breaks on the right foot!

Polar Bear Plunge @ University of Missouri

March 10th, 2010

The Polar Bear Plunge is an annual event that challenges adventurous individuals to “bear” the winter cold by plunging into the freezing cold Columbia Lake.

Around 500 people came to help raise money and awareness for the Missouri Special Olympics.

Some students got so into it that they dressed up for the occasion. Making the event that much more memorable!

Even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made it out to support!

This was an extremely successful and fun event! AMP Energy definitely got everyone energized and ready to take the plunge.

The favorite flavor of the group was definitely Lightning, especially since it goes along with the Mizzou school colors; Gold and Black.

GO TIGERS!

A big thank you goes out to all those that supported this event and to AMP Energy for allowing fun events like this to be able to AMP Up!

CSU, Fullerton’s Campus Screening of “Twilight Series: New Moon”

March 4th, 2010

Fullerton’s very own ASI Productions hosted an outdoor screening of the movie “New Moon”. An event that many students on campus were highly anticipating.

Students were really excited to see that AMP Energy made an appearance at the screening and everyone wanted to get in on the action.

All that came to the screening were able to try a flavor of AMP Energy that they hadn’t tried before. Favorites of the evening consisted of Sugar Free and Relaunch!

AMP Energy was such a hot commodity that Edward Cullen had to try some. That is, the cardboard cut-out Edward if we’re getting technical. ; )

It was a great show, a great crowd, and great time was had by everyone that came.

AMP Up Fullerton!!!

Rock, Paper, Scissors chAMPionships, Nebraska Style!

March 3rd, 2010

AMP Up Nebraska, RPS is here!

We held the Rock Paper Scissors championships at the REC center, by far one of the busiest hubs on campus, on Friday, February 12, at 1 p.m.

As competitors registered, the air started to fill with intense energy! Competitors pre-gamed with AMP Energy as they stood anxiously waiting the competition to begin, the energy of anticipation was inevitable!

There wasn’t one student that didn’t get down and dirty once the championships started. Each student used their best strategies to out-throw their component.

Lance, a reporter from Channel 10/11 news, got super involved, challenging any student he saw with a game of Rock Paper Scissors! In addition to the competitors, many students swarmed around to watch, or stopped and checked it out as they got done running or on their way to lift weights.

Past AMP Energy drinkers and new AMP Energy drinkers alike LOVED the product, many were able to try a flavor they hadn’t tried before.

Dedicated refs? Intense throw downs? Victory dances? And a little AMP Energy lovin’? Yep, that’s Rock Paper Scissors championships Nebraska style!

Bare on the Bricks Charity Event @ Ohio University

March 2nd, 2010

Bare on the Bricks is an annual event hosted by the alumni board as well as the Alpha Epsilon Pie.

Participants paid to be a part of this program, and any clothes they were wearing went to a local homeless shelter and the money went to aid Haiti.

200+ came out to show their support. They were more than pumped to see me there with AMP Energy by my side.

At noon participants gave their clothes and ran a “nearly naked mile” after donating anything they could.

AMP Energy really gave the participants the energy and courage they needed to run their mile!

Thanks to everyone that came out to show their support and thanks AMP Energy for helping us through this chilly winter run!

Penn State Patty’s Day Party

March 1st, 2010

At Penn State we don’t just celebrate holidays, we make them our own!

I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate one of our schools most beloved holidays then to get Penn State students AMP’d Up, and trust me, i sure did!

Over 300 students came out to celebrate and relieve stress from midterms.

The flavor of the night was Original, as it fit in perfectly with the Saint Patty’s Day theme!

At the party people played AMP Energy Pong and AMP Energy Flip Cup. All that came had a great time and many people were curious if AMP Energy would be at more events around campus. Luckily I could reassure them all we would!

Happy Saint Patty’s Day! Make sure you all AMP Up on the 17th!

CSU, Chico’s Rock Band Jam Off!

February 25th, 2010

Chico State’s Associated Students put on a Rock Band Jam Off last Friday. I thought it would be the perfect opportunity for Chico students to AMP Up and rock out!

This was a super fun event and everyone got really into the game!

Student’s were really pumped to see that AMP Energy was there and they all wanted a piece of the action.

Over ninety people came to this on campus event to rock out, relieve some stress, and AMP Up.

It was AMP Energy that got the energy levels high and everyone in good spirits so they could rock it out on the floor.

Thanks to all that came out and had a great time! And of course a special thank you to AMP Energy and Chico State Associated Students for making this possible!

Rock, Paper, Scissors ChAMPionship @ Arizona State University

February 24th, 2010

Get your game faces on!

The AMP Energy RPS ChaAMPionship game hit ASU by storm.

Everyone that attended got really into the competition and wanted some of the great prizes which was fun to see. When we got down to the final four, they were literally sweating!

Our winner, Greg, was in absolute shock when he won. It wasn’t until after everyone rushed him and the refs picked him up that he semi realized what just happened.  He looked at me and said “wait, so this is for real?”

This was a ton of fun and it was so exciting to see how AMP’d Up everyone got over the ChAMPionship game! Luckily we had some great refs and competitors that made this competition an unforgettable event!

Afterward, The State Press TV and Newspaper did an interview with Greg and we all took pictures and drank AMP Energy!

AMP UP!

Western Kentucky’s Last Home Game vs. South Alabama

February 23rd, 2010

Western went out in style!

The hardworking seniors made it all but an interesting home basketball game in their rout of S. Alabama.

We set up camp right outside of the student entrance to ensure the most AMP’d Up crowd.

Of course we had the help of Dale Jr. along our side; in cardboard form that is. ; )

More than any other drink; Western Kentucky basketball fans enjoyed AMP Energy Lightning the most.

Everyone’s energy was elevated so high when the saw the AMP Energy sampling table that we even had to run back to the dorm for more sampling cups!

Even though we ran low on cups this event was a huge success.

Thanks AMP Energy!

Pardi Gras @ University of Virginia

February 22nd, 2010

This was a wild and fun Mardi Gras party! Before the event my housemates and I made a giant snow fort reaching seven feet high for people to chill in.

In the walls of the snow fort I built an AMP Energy cooling shelf to keep the drinks nice and chilly for anyone needing an extra boost.

There were hundreds of beads, and tons of bright yellow, green, and purple costumes. Over 150 people came out to celebrate with us!

Everyone had a really great time, and the life-size “cooler” was a hit!

We hope for more successful and fun events to come!

Remember everyone - AMP Up your night!
